Love Came Down at Christmas

Hello Choir and friends of the choir,

I'm very excited to start working on our Christmas Cantata for the year!  Just for your records, we will be singing this the service on December 14.  Please make sure you're in town that weekend.  Expect to have a final 'dress' rehearsal on Sat December 13 in the afternoon.

We will start working on this piece during our Wednesday night rehearsals, for the 2nd half of the rehearsal, starting this coming Wednesday, Sept 17, at 7:15.

The work has four main movements, each on a theme of Advent - Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.  In addition, there are opening and closing movements to give a greater sense of structure to the whole work.
